Brand Overview
Founded in France in 1889, Michelin has been driving innovation in tire technology since its founding. In 1891, it invented the removable bicycle tire and later entered the field of automobile tires. It has made remarkable achievements in the field of racing, and has been successful in major international automobile competitions from 1900 to 1912. Since 1973, it has become the official tire supplier of MotoGP, helping the competition win more than 500 times. In the F1 event, it debuted in 1977 and helped the team win many championships. From 2024 to 2029, Michelin serves as the exclusive tire partner of the Hypercar group of the World Endurance Championship.
