From May 16 to 18, 2025, the FIA Formula 4 China Championship will move to Shanghai to start the fifth to eighth rounds of the annual finals. Formula elites will chase their dreams and set sail at the Shanghai International Circuit, the venue of the F1 Chinese Grand Prix.

Shanghai International Circuit is the only first-class track in my country. Its single lap length is 5.451 kilometers, the longest straight length is 1,175 meters, the track width is between 18 and 20 meters, and it consists of 16 curves with different turning radii. It is currently one of the most exciting, thrilling, difficult and challenging tracks in the F1 event. Since 2004, it has been the only venue for the F1 Chinese Grand Prix and has become the center of Chinese motorsports.

This week's event will continue to use the same track layout as F1. While facing top challenges, drivers will also drive F4 Formula cars to experience the Chinese memories of top Formula events.

The 2025 Dongpeng Special Drink FIA F4 Formula China Championship has now completed four rounds of competition. Yinqiao ACM GEEKE driver Zhang Shimo won three sub-station championships in his first show of the season and led the standings with 75 points. Another F4 rookie, Champ Motorsport's Chen Yuqi, is currently in second place.

Xu Yingjie, who won the championship in his debut in the 2023 season, will once again represent Black Blade Racing in Shanghai. Henan Venom Motorsport also formed a new lineup for the F4 group with Yu Yan and Wang Yuzhe. China's first F1 Academy driver Shi Wei (Tiedou) returned to the Dongpeng Special Drink FIA F4 Formula China Championship CFGP group competition on behalf of the GEEKE ACM team this week. Pointer Racing opened the team's first race of the season with two new stars, Liu Taiji and Yuanyang Zeshi switched from endurance racing to the formula race.

Jing Zefeng won the runner-up in the recent Shanghai finals. In this game, he will represent the new team Jinyutu GYT Racing. Apollo RFN Racing Team by ART Li Zebing started a new CFGP group journey in Shanghai, and Blackjack Racing 21 Racing Huang Chujian will welcome his personal debut.

Champ Motorsport's Masters driver Wang Yi took the lead in the annual competition with the runner-up in the second round. He will face challenges from powerful drivers such as Fei Jun of Yinqiao ACM GEEKE and Apollo RFN Racing Team by ART Viktor Turkin.

Easy Fun Team Masters driver Zhu Zhenyu will compete in the Shanghai station for the second consecutive season. Kaifei Racing Team Zeng Weiye and Luo Yufeng, SilverRocket AME Formula Team Li Jia and Yingli Racing Club Han Yingfu will bring a strong confrontation within the group.

In terms of teams, Black Blade Racing took the top spot in the standings with 89 points thanks to the stable performance of its drivers. Yinqiao ACM GEEKE Team and Champ Motorsport ranked second and third after the opening race. Henan Venom Motorsport, ONE Motorsports and Team KRC are also looking forward to further progress in Shanghai.
