LEVEL Motorsports Takes Another Podium

From July 4th to 6th, the third round of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing China GR86 Cup 2025 was held at the Ningbo International Circuit. LEVEL Motorsports achieved another strong performance, with Hu Hanzhong securing third place in the Elite Class (MT) in round two with a brilliant performance.

Returning to Ningbo, Full Power

The race returned to Ningbo for the third round, and LEVEL Motorsports drew on their experience from the previous race to unleash even more speed. In free practice, Hu Hanzhong finished third overall, demonstrating strong momentum. In qualifying, Hu Hanzhong braved the heat and continuously improved his lap times, ultimately securing second place in his class after a tense battle to take the overall lead.

In the first round of the final, Hu Hanzhong started from the second row. He engaged in a fierce battle with his opponent right from the start, demonstrating his fiery fighting spirit. However, Hu Hanzhong encountered challenges during the fierce battle at the start and was forced to stop early. However, he and the team immediately adjusted their situation and fully committed to preparing for the next match.

Breaking the haze, returning to the podium

The second round of the Ningbo Grand Prix final was once again staged under high temperatures. Hu Hanzhong started from 11th place and quickly moved up to third in the Elite Class (MT) with a strong start, engaging in a lengthy cross-class battle with his opponent ahead.

Hu Hanzhong aggressively pursued the field, setting a new fastest lap time and later joining the fierce three-car duel. In the second half of the race, Hu Hanzhong maintained a steady pace, ultimately maintaining third place in his class until the finish line. He secured third place in the Elite Class (MT) this round, achieving his third consecutive podium finish.

Hu Hanzhong said after the race: "In the first round of this event, I encountered a track incident at the start and did not complete the race. In the second round, I started from the second-to-last row of the field and smoothly moved to the front, then continued to advance at my own pace. I pushed hard in the first half of the race and even set the fastest lap, but this also caused excessive tire wear, so I focused on playing steady in the second half. The event organizers held a great race in Ningbo. I was able to unlock the Ningbo International Circuit through these two rounds and I'm looking forward to the next race."
