News & Announcements China Shanghai International Circuit September 18

From September 19th to 21st, the 2025 China GT Championship will return to Jiading, Shanghai, for the final race of the year at the Shanghai International Circuit. Uno Racing Team will once again field two Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo IIs for the GT3 AM class's year-end showdown.

Anson Chen and Thomas Song will once again team up in the No. 98 car, aiming for a strong result.

The No. 85 car, driven by Pan Junlin and Wang Yibo, will return to the GT circuit.

This is the third time that China GT has returned to the Shanghai International Circuit this year. As China's only FIA Grade 1 certified circuit, the Shanghai International Circuit spans 5.451 kilometers and boasts 16 corners. Known for its classic spiral turns, diverse high-speed cornering, and 1.175-kilometer straight, it is a temple of speed coveted by countless drivers, both Chinese and international.

Over the past few seasons, the Uno Racing Team has competed at the Shanghai International Circuit numerous times, securing podiums in both of their classes in the first two races of this season's Shanghai Grand Prix, bringing home one championship and one season-high. This wealth of racing experience and accumulated data will ensure that the four drivers of both teams are in top form for the weekend race.

For the final race, the Uno Racing Team assembled a highly anticipated lineup. Chen Yechong and Thomas Song, a pairing that has won numerous championships together, are a true golden pair on the track. Chen Yechong has extensive GT racing experience, having participated in events such as the GT Sprint Series and the Shanghai 8 Hours. Thomas Song, a rising star in Chinese GT in recent years, has achieved impressive results in both GTSC and China GT.

Chen Yechong and Thomas Song teamed up to win third place in the GTSC GT3 AM Driver of the Year last season and have also reached the China GT podium multiple times this season. In the previous race, the No. 98 team braved the changeable weather in Zhuhai, turning the tide to secure second place in the class. Both drivers are determined to carry this enterprising spirit into the final race, striving for glory.

Pan Junlin and Wang Yibo will be competing in China GT again since the season opener in April. Pan Junlin has won overall titles in the GT Sprint Series and has competed in high-level international events such as the Spa 24 Hours. Wang Yibo, EVISU's exclusive driver, joined the team in 2024 and has a dazzling record of podium finishes and class wins in both the GTSC and China GT series.

Pan Junlin and Wang Yibo teamed up to win the GT3 Am class championship at this year's China GT Shanghai season opener. We look forward to both drivers repeating their strong performance from the season opener this weekend.

The China GT Shanghai Grand Prix will host qualifying and the first round of the finals on Saturday, September 20th, with the final round of the season taking place on the afternoon of Sunday, September 21st. We look forward to the Uno Racing Team returning home with a triumphant victory in this Shanghai showdown.
