Thierry Vermeulen

Thierry Vermeulen, born on July 29, 2002, is a Dutch racing driver currently making waves in the world of motorsports. Hailing from Venlo, Netherlands, and now residing in Monaco, the young talent stands at 1.76 meters tall and weighs 64 kg. Supported by four-time Formula One World Drivers' Champion Max Verstappen, Vermeulen is currently competing for Emil Frey Racing in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM).

Vermeulen's racing journey began in 2020 in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux, where he dominated the GT4 CS class, winning all but one race and securing the title with Team GP Elite. He also made an appearance in the GT4 European Series at Le Castellet that same year. Transitioning to GT3 racing, he competed in the ADAC GT Masters in 2022 with Car Collection Motorsport, driving an Audi R8 LMS Evo II and achieving a podium finish alongside Mattia Drudi. In 2023, he performed double duties for Emil Frey Racing, participating in both the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup and the DTM, driving the new Ferrari 296 GT3 car. He continues with Emil Frey Racing in the DTM and GTWC Sprint Cup in 2024, demonstrating his commitment to the team and the Verstappen.com Racing brand.

With a strong desire to climb to the top, Vermeulen aims for a top-10 finish and his first DTM podiums in the current DTM season. Describing himself as a perfectionist, he spends his time away from the track training, using simulators, socializing, and playing paddle.
