Tom Mclennan

Tom McLennan, born on December 30, 2004, is a rising Australian racing driver hailing from Brisbane. McLennan's journey in motorsports started at a young age, initially with motorbikes before transitioning to karts at age 13. Under his father's guidance as his mechanic, he honed his skills in go-karting until 2020 when he joined a professional karting team. He actively participated in Queensland Karting Championships and the Rotax Pro Tour Series.

In mid-2020, at the age of 16, McLennan transitioned to Formula Ford racing with BF Racing. He later joined CHE Racing in 2022, competing in the Australian Formula Ford Series. 2021 saw him achieve a win and two podium finishes in the QLD Formula Ford series, ultimately finishing third overall. In July 2022, McLennan joined McElrea Racing, marking his move into Porsche racing in the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge, securing two class wins on debut.

McLennan's career also includes participation in the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship. Despite an incident during the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, where he sustained a whiplash, he has shown resilience and determination. He continues to refine his skills in the Qld Raceway Sprints Open Class, demonstrating his commitment to improving and progressing in his racing career.
