Amaury Cordeel

Amaury Cordeel, born on July 9, 2002, is a Belgian racing driver currently competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Rodin Motorsport. Cordeel's path to Formula 2 wasn't conventional, as he transitioned to single-seaters at 14 without a karting background. He debuted in the 2017 French Formula 4 series and then moved to the Spanish F4 in 2018, where he clinched the championship title with an impressive record of 12 podiums, four poles, and four victories.

Cordeel entered FIA Formula 3 in 2021 with Campos Racing, achieving a best finish of 11th. In 2022, he stepped up to FIA Formula 2 with Van Amersfoort Racing and later joined Invicta Virtuosi Racing in 2023, partnering with Jack Doohan. In 2024 he drove for Hitech Pulse-Eight. Before Formula 3, he gained experience in various series, including Formula Renault Eurocup, Toyota Racing Series, and F3 Asia in 2020. Cordeel's 2023 F2 season saw him finish in the points twice, with eighth-place finishes at Zandvoort and Monza.

In his personal life, Cordeel comes from a family involved in the construction business. His brother, Ghislain, is also a racing driver.
