Absolute Racing takes on Sepang in TSS Super Series
News & Announcements Malaysia Sepang International Circuit August 8
B-Quik Absolute Racing gears up for the Sepang challenge...
This weekend, the B-Quik Absolute Racing team will head to the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia for the third round of the 2025 TSS The Super Series. The team will field four cars in both the Super Car GT3 and GT4 classes.
As the only overseas round of the TSS series, Sepang has been on the calendar for over a decade, with the exception of a brief hiatus during the pandemic. As a regular fixture, the back-to-back Sepang races have been a highly anticipated event for fans in recent years.
This race is the third of five rounds this season, marking the halfway point of the series. As the season enters its second half, every point counts, and the weight of the double-header points is self-evident.
In the Super Car GT3 class, the team will field three cars, continuing their pursuit of points, podium finishes, and even victories.
Henk Kiks and Sandy Stuvik will lead the field in the all-new Porsche 911 GT3 R. This experienced duo has demonstrated consistent performance this season, finishing in the top five multiple times, and they continued their strong performance at the previous round, the Bangsaen Grand Prix. This weekend, they aim to secure their first victory with the new car at Sepang.
The other Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II will be contested by Akash Nandy and Adisak Tangphuncharoen, who will continue their partnership from last year.
Nandy is a highly popular Malaysian star driver. At last month's Bangsaen Grand Prix, he and Deng Yi teamed up to win the race, demonstrating excellent form and chemistry. Returning to his familiar home circuit at Sepang, with the support of his hometown fans, he'll be determined to secure his second consecutive victory.
Tangphuncharoen is the first driver from the B-Quik employee training program to advance to the GT3 class. He possesses extensive experience in both the Audi GT3 and the Sepang circuit. This well-balanced and collaborative duo is undoubtedly one of the favorites to win this weekend, and the team has high hopes for them.
In addition, local stars Haziq Oh and Aaron Lim will return to the TSS circuit as single-race drivers, joining forces once again. Last year, this duo secured third place in the GT3-Am class at the second round of the Sepang Grand Prix, bringing with them a wealth of experience and a strong foundation of synergy.
Haziq Oh is the reigning champion of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia LC Cup class, while his partner Aaron Lim is a former A1 Malaysian national team driver. This time, the two will leverage their home advantage to strive for a better podium finish than last year.
In the Super Car GT4 class, Iaro Razanakoto and Sathaporn Veerachue will continue their campaign in the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. The Malagasy-Thai duo performed well in the season opener at Buriram, but endured a difficult weekend at the Bangsaen Grand Prix, fighting hard to claw back valuable points. They will be giving it their all in Sepang to revive their championship hopes.
The third round of the 2025 TSS Super Series season begins with two official free practice sessions on Friday (June 8), followed by qualifying and the first race on Saturday (June 9), and the second race on Sunday (June 10).
