News & Announcements China Shanghai International Circuit September 8

From September 19th to 21st, the 2025 China GT Championship will conclude its season at the Shanghai International Circuit. Incipient Racing will field three cars: the #51 car will be driven by Xiao Min and Air Tong in the GT3 Am class; the #650 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 will be driven by Che Shaoyi and Wu Zhenlong in the GTS Am class; and the Audi R8 LMS GT4 will feature a new lineup, with He Baifeng and Li Jiahao co-driving the GTS class.

The Shanghai International Circuit, China's only FIA-certified Grade 1 circuit, has hosted the F1 Chinese Grand Prix for many years. The 5.451-kilometer circuit features numerous high-speed turns and a 1.2-kilometer straight, placing stringent demands on vehicle setup and driver skill.

The No. 51 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II will be driven by Xiao Min and Air Tong. Both drivers have many years of racing experience. Xiao Min previously drove this car in the China GT warm-up race, racking up significant mileage. Air Tong has been actively training during the summer break, testing the same model multiple times at the Shanghai Circuit. This has given him a comprehensive understanding of the car's performance and he is looking forward to his GT3 debut at the Shanghai Grand Prix.

After competing in the second round of the China GT in Shanghai, Che Shaoyi and Wu Zhenlong, both drivers of the #650 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS in the GTS Am class, have gained a thorough understanding of Porsche racing. After the second round of the China GT, they look forward to working together again at the Shanghai Circuit and reaching the podium once again.

He Baifeng and Li Jiahao will compete in the GTS class in Audi R8 LMS GT4s. He Baifeng has previously participated in racing simulators and local events, and this is his first foray into GT racing. He and Incipient Racing look forward to mutual progress and growth. Li Jiahao previously drove a GTL-class car in the CEC China Endurance Championship, achieving two podium finishes in the GTL 2 class, gaining experience in rear-wheel drive racing. Both drivers participated in testing with Incipient Racing at the Shanghai Circuit during the summer break. The team helped the new drivers quickly adapt to the car, and we look forward to seeing both drivers progress and achieve strong results together in the Shanghai race.

The three cars are ready. The drivers will seize the final time before the race to familiarize themselves with the track and cars, fully preparing for the race and striving for even better results in the Shanghai race.
