Uno Racing Team makes a strong appearance in the Shanghai 8-hour endurance race

From October 6th to 8th, the 2025 Shanghai 8 Hours Endurance Race will be held at the Shanghai International Circuit. For the third consecutive year, the Uno Racing Team will compete in this prestigious endurance event. Pan Junlin, Wang Yibo, Rio, and Sérgio Sette Câmara will form the star-studded #85 crew, driving an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II in the GT3 PA class.

The Uno Racing Team has assembled a strong lineup of leading Chinese and international drivers for this event, aiming for the highest honors.

Pan Junlin has won championships in the China GT (China Supercar Championship) and the GT Sprint Series, and has gained experience in major endurance races at the Spa 24 Hours. This season, Pan Junlin has repeatedly demonstrated his impressive offensive prowess, demonstrating his exceptional ability.

Since joining the team in 2024, EVISU's exclusively signed driver Wang Yibo has achieved numerous podium finishes in both the GTSC and China GT series, and will be making his endurance race debut at this year's competition. In 2025, Wang Yibo and Pan Junlin teamed up twice in the China GT, bringing home an exceptional record of one championship and one season. Both drivers will strive to carry their hot streak from China GT into the 8-hour race and deliver a brilliant performance.

Rio, a skilled driver with a track record of competing in China GT and GTSSC, has won the GTSSC championship. This season, he has played a key role in his team's numerous podium finishes in the GT World Challenge Asia Cup. Rio also has extensive endurance racing experience, having competed in the Shanghai 8 Hours and Spa 24 Hours, and is expected to achieve further breakthroughs in this competition.

Brazilian driver Sérgio Sette Câmara is an FIA Formula 2 champion who has competed in the FIA Formula E World Championship for multiple seasons. He has also served as a test and development driver for McLaren and as a test driver for Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso in the F1 World Championship. In sports car racing, Sette Câmara participated in the European Le Mans Series this year, securing a podium finish and the LMP2 Pro-Am title at the Circuit Paul Ricard in France. The addition of a world-class driver will provide a powerful boost to the 85-car team, laying a solid foundation for a strong finish.

As a flagship event representing Shanghai's speed, the Shanghai 8 Hours Endurance Race reignited its momentum during this year's National Day Golden Week holiday, attracting elite teams and drivers from across China and Asia to once again host the Chinese F1 Grand Prix. Compared to conventional short-distance races, the 8-hour race places higher demands on team strategy, driver stamina, and car stability. During the long race, drivers are more likely to encounter complex traffic and unpredictable weather, which not only tests their driving skills but also challenges the adaptability of the team and drivers.

The Uno Racing Team has participated in two consecutive Shanghai 8-Hour Endurance Races, achieving an impressive runner-up finish. Furthermore, at the China GT finale in September, the Uno Racing Team successfully secured a podium finish, demonstrating the team's continued strong performance. Leveraging the extensive data and experience accumulated at the Shanghai International Circuit, the team has made targeted adjustments to the car, striving to be in top form for this endurance race.

The 2025 Shanghai 8 Hours Endurance Race will begin its first test run on October 6th, with the official 8-hour endurance race officially kicking off on October 8th. The Uno Racing Team will give it their all, striving for another outstanding performance in Shanghai's pinnacle endurance race!
